Texas Business School (TBS) is a U.S.-approved institution delivering professional programs in Business, Technology, and Management. We offer both online and in-person learning and serve domestic and international students, including J1 exchange participants.
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and results-driven Director of Academic Operations to oversee the full spectrum of academic and administrative operations.
This role is based in Nigeria but operates on U.S. time (CST), serving as the central leadership point coordinating students, faculty, recruiters, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of school operations, ensure regulatory compliance, supervise staff, and drive execution across all academic and operational functions.
The role reports directly to the Executive Director.

Must Have
- Bachelor's degree or Higher
- Personal Laptop
- Strong command of spoken and written English (must communicate clearly with U.S. audience)
- Proven experience in academic administration, school operations, or program management
- Strong leadership and team management capability
- Ability to manage multiple functions and drive execution
- Comfortable working U.S. Central Standard Time (CST)
- Experience with international students or programs is an advantage
Nice to have
- AI First Person with LLM (GPT, Gemini, Copilot, etc)
- Experience handling compliance or regulatory frameworks (TWC experience is a strong advantage)
- Experience with ERP, LMS, or CRM systems is a plus
- Google Adwords experience
- Strong analytical skills

- Salary: ₦200,000/month
- Performance Bonus: Paid in USD
- Work Structure: Hybrid (2 days in Ikeja office, 3 days remote)
